Position Purpose
In this strategic role, you will identify, pursue, and win new business through developing and recommending account plans and marketing approaches to reach company sales goals and objectives.Description

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect and develop sales leads by identifying, developing, and qualifying new business opportunities and partnerships for winning new and retaining existing business
  • Develop, implement, and execute sales plans in all vertical markets
  • Manage, prepare, and submit requests for proposals (RFP's) and bidding processes across government and commercial markets
  • Achieve sales revenue objectives with targeted profit goals through contracting with qualified prospects
  • Participate in pursuit planning meetings linking needs to the company's products and service strategies
  • Create demand for company's products by raising its profile through company capture and steering processes
  • Monitor the market trends and competitor strategies/outlook
  • Prepares and gives sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Oversees and create effective marketing materials in all channels (print, trade show, web, and other media)
  • Leads and develops all staff to ensure department performance and productivity objectives are met.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of work experience in business development, sales, marketing, and/or capture experience, effectively positioning IT solutions to government and commercial entities or other related support and services
  • Knowledge of marketing and/or consultative sales principles, techniques, and the healthcare IT marketplace
  • Strong written and oral communication as demonstrated effective presentations to executive decision makers
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions to ensure targeted new business is awarded to company
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate and influence others
  • Ability to negotiate subcontracting/partner agreements
  • Microsoft Office
  • Travel is required to support company revenue closure objectives
  • This role is eligible for remote or telework location options within the United States

We Prefer That You Have:

  • Work experience in one or more of the following:
    • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services and technology to include:
      • Hosting, managed services, cloud; workflow management and records management solutions, or core administrative (claims) processing systems or platforms
  • Demonstrated success in consultative, complex solutions selling environment
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including commercial health plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and government healthcare programs
  • Understanding of government procurement processes and federal acquisition regulations (e.g. FAR)
  • Demonstrated success in marketing and/or selling BPO offerings, services and technologies in a consultative selling cycle to government and commercial customers
  • Understanding of healthcare and healthcare-related industry trends, direction and market opportunities
  • Travel is required to support company revenue closure objectives
