JOB TITLE:

Program Coordinator, HCBS, Wyoming Institute for Disabilities -WIND

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate the daily operational functions of WIND's projects for the Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing, Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Section under supervision. This will include developing and conducting training for internal and external stakeholders, and work with individuals with disabilities and their support teams. Statewide travel is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the administrative, quality assurance, and staff training activities of HCBS projects to assure delivery of services, reduce duplication of efforts, and improve processes.
  • Coordinate team activities to schedule, organize and conduct standardized assessments, including travel for in-person assessments across the state of Wyoming.
  • Complete assigned assessments per protocol
  • Maintain secure records of assessment data (electronic and hard copies) and individual information per protocol.
  • Collect required data for sponsor agencies; complete NIRS reporting for assigned activities, and draft monthly progress reports for HCBS.
  • Complete required documentation and upload reports in Electronic Medicaid Waiver System (EMWS) for the Wyoming Department of Health
  • Plan agendas for and document notes from team meetings
  • Conduct and document quality review of assessments per protocol
  • Maintain project protocols, guidance resources, and staff training materials, and update as needed per quality review results
  • Develop project goals and objectives and revise as necessary; develop and implement a comprehensive plan for delivery and assessment of project objectives and goals.
  • Represent Wyoming or the University at project functions, or other meetings and events, which may include reporting on projects, planning collaborations with other project professionals, and evaluating projects.
  • Consult with faculty, counselors, staff members, and the public to assist students and/or program participants associated with programs and services of WIND

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

Due to significant requirements for travel to conduct the work, this position is eligible for remote work and/or a flexible work schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience: 1-year work-related experience, including administration of assessments to individuals with disabilities, special healthcare needs or other special populations. This can be in any field such as counseling or special education or other related disciplines.

Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the .

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in disabilities related work and/or developmental/functional assessment
  • Experience maintaining HIPAA compliant records
