This position will be responsible for proactive community outreach for the purposes of candidate attraction in all communities in which Dyno Nobel operates.

What You'll Do

As the Community Outreach Recruiter you will be responsible for proactive community outreach for the purposes of candidate attraction in all communities in which Dyno Nobel operates. This recruiter will have specific goals around driving applications for all underrepresented groups in our communities with a specific focus on areas outlined in our AAP's. This role involves building relationships with community organizations, attending events, and promoting Dyno Nobel as an employer of choice to candidates from diverse communities and backgrounds. Other duties will include:

  • Develop and execute outreach plans to attract candidates from underrepresented communities
  • Attend community events, job fairs, and networking sessions to promote our organization and recruit diverse talent. Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR business partners to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Ensure that Hiring Managers are trained on interviewing skills and legal compliance
  • Ensure fair and equal employment opportunities for all candidates, working in an inclusive environment
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, continually grow pipelines of qualified diverse candidates analyzing results and adapting strategy accordingly
  • Utilize research and data analysis to make informed decisions to determine recruitment marketing, event success, and delivery of candidates to pipeline.
  • Conduct strategic sourcing by leveraging online tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. while delivering on key metrics.
  • Develop strategies and initiatives and work with internal stakeholders to explore and maximize talent pools of candidates to meet current and future requirements
  • Organize and facilitate recruitment events, job fairs and information sessions to attract candidates for underrepresented areas of the company
  • Conduct presentations and workshops to educate communities about career opportunities and the application process
  • Deliver elite customer service to both candidates and hiring managers
  • Provide information about the organization and position to potential applicants
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruitment, community outreach or related roles
  • Proven experience in sourcing, marketing, and attraction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Demonstrated competence at developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of employment law and training requirements including AAP, EEOC, ADA and FLSA
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
  • 50% travel will be required for this location throughout the United States and Canada
