JOB TITLE:
Outdoor Program Climbing Wall Assistant
JOB PURPOSE:
As part of the Campus Recreation Department, the Outdoor Program helps recruit and retain students, faculty and staff by providing a wide range of inclusive, safe, reasonably priced, and accessible outdoor programs and services to the UW community. We expose and guide individuals in the natural environment, provide skill and leadership development opportunities, and facilitate peer to peer interactions and fun. This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
University of Wyoming student
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous rope climbing experience is preferred. Must have a willingness and excitement to learn climbing wall related skills. Experience with route setting is a plus.
