The goal of both cardiology and neurology service to provide acute treatment and care to patients who have severe and life-threatening medical conditions. The service lines also rapidly treat patients and, when appropriate, stabilize them and discharge patient to home or transfer them to long-term rehabilitative care.
The unit provides complex services to neurology and cardiology patients admitted to 7 East. The scope practice includes providing medical treatments, all medical services consults, respiratory services, post procedural care, rehabilitation services, dietary services, social services, cardiac monitoring wound services, and transportation services upon discharge.
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Nurse I is a professional care worker who is responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating safe, effective individualized nursing care to critically ill patients and supportive care to significant others. Assess patient's needs and pain, implements, and evaluates nursing care according to established standards. These activities require nursing judgment based on application of scientific principles of nursing, problem solving, and teaching/learning. MULTIPLE VACANCIES
